and you are over it.

I know I haven't posted in a while. I do not apologize.

Anywho, today I had the most appalling job interview of my LIFE. I have had this recruiter calling me regarding a job. So I agree to go for an interview, it is an LTE position (which I have done before). The recruiter describes it to me as some clerical/reception stuff, calendar organization, and payroll entry. All stuff I have plenty of experience with. I tell the recruiter that I am looking for something in BARABOO. That I cannot leave Baraboo (Due to the driving thing). The recruiter says it is not a problem the job is for the Baraboo office. It is office work. Great! So I go there and they give me another job description. Not like another copy of the one the recruiter e-mailed me (yes, I did have the job description the recruiter sent me in my purse)they gave me a TOTALLY DIFFERENT job description. No, they did not confuse me for an applicant for a different job. They were expecting me and this info had my name on it. I read the new job description, tasks outlined in it are things like reviewing Union contracts, handling all of payroll, overseeing Safety and Risk Management training and IT work. All for $15 an hour. At this point I am already thinking "Ummmmm nooooooooo." They they take me into the interview room. There is half eaten food on the table along with other trash. The food does not belong to any of the interviewers (even if it did who eats during an interview!?) We begin the interview and I find out that the job requires that you travel to offices all over the region. Why? Because the previously described tasks are not limited to the Baraboo office I would have to do these things (and two pages worth of others) for multiple offices. For $15 an hour, no benefits, no paid leave. Even if I did drive, no car is provided for all of this travel. So I told them I don't drive, told them I had specifically told this to the recruiter and said "Oh gosh I understand that you can no longer consider me as an applicant. Sorry." and booked it out of there. WOW could they have their shit LESS together?!
