Small town life revisited
Is there anything funnier than the former Sheriff of rural little Sauk County going by the name "Butch" Steinhorst? Especially when he has been doing so for so long that I don't know a single person who could tell you his real first name with out serious reflection. Why yes, there IS something funnier. It is funnier when he is a cute, dirty, little old man who flirts with me in front of my boss. I love small town Wisconsin.

Reminds me of Sheriff Burt back home. Her real name is Bertha but she doesn't like to be called that. She wears sundresses to work during the summer and bakes cookies for everyone at the department (including the drunks in lockup).
Aww! That is sweet! ... I don't think Butch would ever do that. I think he is far more likely to pinch my ass then give me a cookie. Butch is the grand patriarch of Sauk County Sheriff's Dept. His offspring, nephews, 2nd cousins et.all make up a significant portion of the Sheriff's deputies. He makes me think of "Foxy Grandpa".
That's the sheriff that the onion made fun of, right?
Does he drink the confiscated high school beer? You both have heard that story from my high school days...
See, our deputy just shaved his step daughter's, well, as Asscannon would put it, "cooter"... I think that is funny, because it came out as a huge scandle in our little town before it was found out through painstaking forensic investigation that the step-daughter was lying, and the the deputy used the razor on... himself... Okay so that was a little too much, huh? Maybe this is why I never comment on your Blog.
Bob, Yup! That would be Butch! And no, he is far more likely to buy beer for High School students (those that are relatives and drinking on his land *coughhalfthecountycough*) than drink confiscated beer ... and yes I rememer that story!
Beebee, No! That was a good story! I wish you (and others) would comment more often! Then perhaps my 'blog wouldn't look so much like an IM record
( ;) not that I'm complaining of course)
