I have gone in to work for at least an hour (usually more like 10 hours) since Feb 20th. As some of you may realize ... that date is almost two weeks after my gradfather died. I just learned last night that my other grandfather died in 2004. I could really use a weekend. Too bad it is Monday. Too bad I have to work this Saturday. I'm going to go smoke.

So, your new job blows. How is life with the Southern Man?
I wouldn't say that my new job blows. I like my job. I have just been putting in a lot of hours lately. It is the whole "too much of a good thing" concept. I like my job. I am good at my job (I think) It is just lately I have spent too much time working so other portions of my life are suffering. Like the amount of time I get to spend with my wonderful Southern Man.

I know exactly how you feel. I love my job, but I get frustrated being so exhausted all the time. I know that you will probably disagree with me, but I think you should take next Monday off and have a long weekend. Don't run errands, don't make appointments... just have a whole day off. I'm telling you, it works wonders, if you can convince yourself.
Di, Not doing that but I am taking Friday ( or at least most of it) and going to AK. Lawyer Ron is running in the Rebel Stakes and we are going to see him run. Enjoy a longish weekend and not even think about cleaning or running errands. This past Sunday was great too. I didn't go to work. I only thought about work for about an hour. Lee and I just hung out at home. MUCH needed re-coup time!
